I always wanted to go Sydney for the new year eve firework but I was always traveling during the Christmas and New Year period. This year, also the first year I spent the whole summer in Australia, I finally made it. We were invited as specially guests in the Royal Botanic Garden. We didn’t have to wait for 10 hours with million people under the sun, like most of the other people did. We were there at 10pm and only waited for 2 hours before the firework started. However, it was a bit further from the main firework site, so it didn’t look as spectacular as I expected. I didn’t have a tripod either because we were bumming around the city during the whole day. There was no point to carry one for over 12 hours But ya, I still got a few reasonable shots to share. I wish next time I can be right in front of the Harbor Bridge and appreciate the firework.
Stay tuned with Kelly Photography, ok?
